Job Description
BayCare Health System is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Health Policy Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on healthcare reform initiatives. This entry-level role is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about public health, healthcare policy, and the regulatory landscape to contribute to meaningful change within a leading healthcare system. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on current and proposed healthcare legislation, regulations, and industry trends at federal, state, and local levels.
- Assist in analyzing the potential impact of new health policies on BayCare's operations, patient care, and strategic objectives.
- Prepare concise summaries, reports, and presentations on policy findings for internal stakeholders.
- Support the development of policy positions and recommendations by gathering data and synthesizing information.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, including legal, clinical operations, and advocacy teams, to understand operational implications of policy changes.
- Track key healthcare reform initiatives and legislative activities, providing regular updates to the team.
- Participate in meetings with external stakeholders, policy makers, and advocacy groups as needed.
- Contribute to the drafting of policy briefs, white papers, and other communications materials.
