Job Description
Are you a student looking for a flexible part-time role that fits around your studies? Target is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Student Stockists to join our team in a large format retail environment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing, directly contributing to a positive shopping experience for our guests. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable retail experience, develop organizational skills, and work within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with products according to store planograms and merchandising guidelines.
- Ensure products are correctly priced, faced, and accessible to guests.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized backroom and sales floor.
- Assist with inventory counts and manage product rotation to minimize waste.
- Support team members with various tasks as needed to maintain store operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school or college.
- Previous experience in a retail or stocking role is a plus but not required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
