Job Description
Join FedEx Express as a Warehouse Aide in our Green Bay facility, where you’ll contribute to our efficient logistics operations in a meticulously maintained, clean indoor environment. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload packages and freight from vehicles and conveyor belts.
- Sort packages according to destination, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Scan and track packages using handheld devices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Operate various types of warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as needed, following proper training.
- Assist with inventory management and quality control processes.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) regularly, and up to 75 lbs (34 kg) occasionally with assistance.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and sorting packages.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to safety procedures and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor role.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) – training will be provided if needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
