Job Description

Pinterest is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Career Development Aide with a strong interest in HR Technology. In this pivotal role, you will support the Career Development team by assisting with the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of HR tech platforms specifically focused on career growth, learning, and talent management. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our employees have the resources and tools they need to thrive professionally at Pinterest. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment at a leading tech company, contributing directly to our employee experience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of HR technology platforms related to career development, learning management systems (LMS), and performance management.
  • Provide technical support and training to employees and HR business partners on career development tools and resources.
  • Help gather and analyze data on career development program effectiveness and HR tech platform usage.
  • Support the creation and update of user guides, FAQs, and documentation for HR tech tools.
  • Collaborate with HR Tech specialists and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement system enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of new career development initiatives and digital resources.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure data integrity across all HR systems and processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong interest in HR technology and career development principles.
  • Proficiency with office productivity suites (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) or LMS (Learning Management System) platforms.
  • Experience with data entry and basic data analysis.
  • Previous internship or project experience in HR or IT.
  • Understanding of visual content platforms and social media trends.
