Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Podcast Audio Producer to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in bringing our podcast ideas to life, from raw recordings to polished, broadcast-ready episodes. You will work closely with hosts, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure high-quality audio production, engaging storytelling, and adherence to brand guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Edit, mix, and master raw audio recordings to professional broadcast standards, including dialogue clean-up, music integration, sound effects, and voiceovers.
- Collaborate with content creators and hosts to understand episode vision and apply appropriate audio storytelling techniques.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of episodes according to production schedules.
- Maintain consistent audio quality and brand sound across all podcast series.
- Troubleshoot audio issues and provide technical support during recording sessions (if applicable, remotely).
- Stay current with industry trends, audio production techniques, and software advancements.
- Archive project files and maintain organized asset libraries.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or similar.
- Strong understanding of audio principles, mixing, mastering, and sound design.
- Excellent ear for detail and ability to identify and correct audio imperfections.
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality podcasts or other audio content.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Audio Production, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with remote recording setups and best practices.
- Familiarity with various podcast hosting platforms and RSS feed management.
- Knowledge of copyright laws related to music and sound effects.
- Experience producing content across diverse genres (e.g., true crime, news, narrative, comedy).
