Job Description
Join the Target team as a Toy Warehouse Sorter and become a vital part of bringing joy to millions! Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and accurately sort incoming toy shipments based on product codes, categories, and destination.
- Inspect toys for any damage or defects, reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
- Efficiently place sorted items into designated bins, shelves, or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the warehouse.
- Operate manual material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily sorting targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking efforts when required.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic comprehension and communication skills in English.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Experience with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
