Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategically-minded Netflix Professional to join our dynamic team in Palo Alto. This role is pivotal in driving key initiatives across content strategy, product innovation, and market expansion within the USA. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the entertainment industry, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a proven track record of delivering impactful results. You will work cross-functionally with various teams including Product, Content, Marketing, and Engineering to identify opportunities, develop strategic recommendations, and ensure the successful execution of high-priority projects aimed at enhancing the Netflix member experience and growing our subscriber base in a highly competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and present data-backed recommendations for content acquisition, production, and localization strategies.
- Collaborate with product teams to influence features and improvements that enhance user engagement and retention.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and deadlines.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive successful outcomes.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic role within the media, technology, or entertainment industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Python/R).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of subscription-based business models and digital content distribution.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with A/B testing, user research, and product development lifecycles.
- Familiarity with global media markets and cultural nuances.
- Previous experience working in a FAANG or similar large technology company.
