Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities such as conversations, games, and light exercise.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and maintaining a tidy living environment.
- Assist with medication reminders and appointment scheduling.
- Provide safe transportation for clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or environment to the supervisor.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of empathy, patience, and compassion.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (personal or professional).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience working with individuals with memory impairment or other chronic conditions.
