Job Description

As an In-Home Support Aide, you will provide personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship, ensuring our clients receive the highest quality of support in the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities such as reading, games, and conversation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, tidying living areas, and meal preparation.
- Assist with safe client transfers and mobility, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Provide medication reminders as directed by care plan.
- Accompany clients to appointments or on errands.
- Observe and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the supervisory nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized client environment.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and patience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform light household tasks.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a home care or healthcare setting.
- CNA certification or completion of a state-approved caregiver training program.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience with individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
