Job Description
Are you an early riser looking for a consistent schedule that leaves your afternoons free? XPO Logistics is searching for dedicated and energetic Morning Warehouse Workers to join our team in Centennial, CO. In this vital role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products within our distribution center. Your day will begin bright and early at 6 AM, ensuring all tasks are completed to support our logistics network. This position requires physical dexterity, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight manually or using powered industrial equipment (training provided as needed).
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming products and materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate various warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Perform routine quality checks on products and report any discrepancies or damage promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to start work promptly at 6:00 AM and maintain consistent attendance.
- Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse facility in Centennial.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or a strong willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience operating a forklift or other warehouse material handling equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
