Job Description

This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to learn the intricacies of international shipping, customs procedures, and supply chain operations from the ground up. You will play a crucial support role, assisting our experienced freight forwarders in ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods across borders. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and processing of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, airway bills, and customs declarations.
- Communicate with carriers, clients, and internal departments to track shipments and resolve minor issues.
- Maintain accurate records and update shipment status in our internal systems.
- Support the team in coordinating pick-ups and deliveries.
- Learn and apply knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
- Perform general administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service support by responding to inquiries and providing updates.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
