Job Description

Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to systems integrity and security? Electronic Arts is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic EA Systems Integrity Aide with a focus on Cybersecurity and Anti-Cheat to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the security and fairness of our gaming ecosystems. You will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting in the identification, analysis, and mitigation of security vulnerabilities and cheating behaviors. This role is crucial in maintaining a positive and trustworthy environment for our global player base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring game systems and online environments for suspicious activities, security breaches, and anti-cheat violations.
  • Help analyze reported security incidents and potential cheating methods, gathering relevant data and evidence.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of security protocols and anti-cheat measures.
  • Contribute to documentation of security incidents, investigation findings, and anti-cheat policies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to provide insights on potential vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.
  • Participate in testing and evaluating new security tools and anti-cheat technologies.
  • Provide initial triage and support for security-related queries and issues from internal teams and player reports.
  • Stay informed about current cybersecurity threats, gaming exploits, and anti-cheat trends.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with common computer networking concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of common anti-cheat methodologies and security tools.
  • Experience with incident response or vulnerability assessment.
