Job Description
Are you passionate about holistic wellness and eager to learn an ancient therapeutic art? Bannatyne Health Club & Spa in Sunderland is seeking a motivated Indian Head Massage Apprentice to join our esteemed team. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of therapeutic massage, learning traditional techniques and client care from experienced professionals. You will gain hands-on experience, develop essential skills, and work towards becoming a qualified therapist in a supportive and luxurious spa environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Undergo comprehensive training in Indian Head Massage techniques and theory.
- Observe and assist senior therapists during client treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and well-stocked.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety in all aspects of work.
- Learn about product knowledge and their benefits for various treatments.
- Assist with client consultations, record-keeping, and aftercare advice.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all spa guests.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
- Participate actively in all training sessions and continuous professional development.
- Develop strong client communication and service skills.
