Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Professional Braider Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hair artistry and a desire to grow their skills in a fast-paced, creative salon environment. As a Braider Assistant, you will support our lead braiders, assist with client preparations, maintain salon cleanliness, and contribute to a positive client experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn advanced braiding techniques and develop into a skilled professional within the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead braiders with hair preparation, including washing, conditioning, and detangling hair.
- Help section hair, apply products, and prepare braiding stations efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of braiding stations, tools, and salon common areas.
- Greet clients warmly, assist with check-in, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
- Learn and practice various braiding techniques under the guidance of experienced stylists.
- Manage inventory of braiding supplies and notify lead braider or manager of low stock.
- Provide excellent client service, addressing questions and ensuring a pleasant salon experience.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing client flow as needed.
- Stay updated on current braiding trends and techniques through continuous learning.
- Uphold salon standards for hygiene, safety, and professionalism.
