Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage in stimulating activities with clients.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises.
- Run errands and assist with grocery shopping.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Home Instead office.
Required Skills
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate nature.
- Basic knowledge of personal care and hygiene best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience (personal or professional).
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience using mobile applications for scheduling.
