Job Description
Join FedEx Express as a full-time team member in West Valley City, UT. This role offers guaranteed 40 hours per week and comprehensive medical and dental benefits from day one. You will be an integral part of our operations, responsible for the safe and efficient handling, sorting, and delivery of packages. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and sort packages by hand, or with material handling equipment.
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages on a scheduled route.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operational flow.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands of the job.
- Valid driver's license (Class C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate a handheld scanner and other mobile devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery role.
- Familiarity with West Valley City and surrounding areas.
- Customer service experience.
