Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Student Marketing Assistant to join our team in Pasco, Washington, focusing on social media strategy. This part-time, hybrid role is perfect for a current student looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic marketing environment. You will support our marketing initiatives by developing engaging content, managing social media platforms, and analyzing campaign performance to enhance our brand presence and connect with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing strategies across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X (Twitter).
- Create engaging and relevant content, including text, image, and video, tailored to each social media channel and target audience.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages, fostering positive interactions.
- Schedule and publish social media posts using content management tools.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new marketing campaigns and content ideas.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics, helping to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure brand consistency and integrated messaging.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X).
- Basic understanding of content creation principles (visuals, copywriting).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Previous experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization (personal projects count!).
- Basic understanding of social media analytics tools.
