Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Creative Intern for a paid summer program at FedEx Ground in Tucson, AZ. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in visual communication, marketing, and brand storytelling within a dynamic corporate environment. You will work alongside our marketing and communications teams, contributing to various projects that support FedEx Ground’s initiatives, campaigns, and internal communications. This is an excellent chance to apply your design skills, learn about corporate branding, and make a tangible impact on a recognized global brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of creative assets for marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and internal communications.
- Design engaging visual content, including graphics, layouts, presentations, and digital media, adhering to FedEx brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with marketing specialists and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new marketing initiatives and creative concepts.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and design best practices to inform creative strategies.
- Support the production of video and photography projects, including basic editing and asset management.
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries and ensure all creative files are properly archived.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) or animation tools.
- Experience managing social media content or digital campaigns.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing creative design projects.
- Interest in logistics, transportation, or corporate communications.
