Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Night Porter to join our dedicated team at Hilton Woking. This part-time role is perfect for someone looking to earn ‘extra cash’ by working two nights per week, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our hotel during the quieter hours. As a Night Porter, you will be the primary point of contact for guests overnight, handling arrivals, departures, and inquiries with professionalism and a friendly demeanor. Your vigilance will be key to maintaining the safety and security of our premises, while also assisting with light administrative tasks and guest requests. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of our hotel operations, providing essential support and ensuring our guests have a peaceful and pleasant stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously during night shifts.
  • Handle all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Perform regular security checks throughout the hotel premises to ensure guest safety and property security.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any alarms or incidents appropriately.
  • Assist with preparing for the next day's operations, including setting up meeting rooms or public areas.
  • Complete light administrative duties, such as preparing reports or processing paperwork.
  • Handle phone calls and internal communications with excellent customer service.
  • Address any emergency situations, such as fire alarms or medical emergencies, following hotel procedures.
  • Ensure all public areas are tidy and presentable for the morning staff.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service.
