Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from vehicles, trailers, and conveyor belts, by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
- Sort and scan packages according to destination, size, and type with precision and efficiency.
- Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support smooth operations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Accurately track and record package information using internal systems.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly and perform physical tasks that involve bending, twisting, standing, walking, and climbing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and scanning packages.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- No degree required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physical labor role.
- Familiarity with safety procedures in a material handling environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and package tracking.
