Job Description

Atlantic Sign Services is seeking a motivated and energetic Signage Installer Helper with no prior experience to join our dynamic team in Moncton, New Brunswick. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to learn the trade, work alongside experienced professionals, and contribute to visible projects across the region. As a Signage Installer Helper, you will be an integral part of our installation crew, assisting in the safe and efficient installation of various types of indoor and outdoor signage. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with the preparation, loading, and unloading of signage materials and equipment.
- Handle and organize tools, ensuring the work vehicle is tidy and stocked.
- Help with site preparation, including setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers.
- Support the installation of different types of signs, including pylon signs, monument signs, channel letters, and various wall-mounted signs.
- Perform basic tasks such as digging, trenching, cleaning, and painting as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures diligently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at job sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members and site contacts.
Required Skills
- Willingness and eagerness to learn a new trade.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work at heights.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools (or a strong desire to learn).
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record (an asset but not required for entry-level).
- First Aid and WHMIS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in general labour, construction, or outdoor work is a plus but not mandatory.
