Job Description

Are you meticulous and thrive in a structured environment where precision is paramount? C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Inventory Auditor to join our team in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This critical role focuses on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our vast inventory, ensuring seamless supply chain operations. We are looking for an individual who can commit to focused, detail-oriented work without the distraction of personal devices, contributing directly to our operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular physical counts of inventory items across various warehouse locations.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies by comparing physical counts to system records.
  • Investigate root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Generate accurate inventory reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with all company inventory control procedures and safety regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Operate inventory scanning equipment and other warehouse tools as needed.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills for counting and reconciliation.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lbs), and reach for extended periods.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and data entry.
  • Commitment to maintaining a "no phones" work environment for focus and security.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations or inventory control.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and logistics.
  • Certification in inventory management or a related field.
  • Experience with forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
