Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Google Ads Policy Auditor to join our growing remote compliance team in the UK. This is a 100% remote position. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing Google Ads campaigns, creatives, and landing pages to ensure strict adherence to Google Ads policies, industry regulations, and internal compliance standards. You will identify potential violations, provide actionable feedback, and work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to mitigate risks and uphold brand integrity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining a safe and compliant online environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of Google Ads campaigns, ad creatives, keywords, and landing pages against Google Ads policies and internal guidelines.
- Identify and document policy violations, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to advertisers and internal teams regarding policy adherence.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Ads policy updates, industry best practices, and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, ASA guidelines).
- Collaborate with legal, product, and client-facing teams to resolve complex policy issues and develop preventative measures.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of auditing processes and tools.
- Maintain detailed records of audit findings and actions taken.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Google Ads platform and policies (e.g., Prohibited Content, Trademarks, Misrepresentation).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Understanding of digital advertising principles and common compliance challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Ads certification (e.g., Search, Display, Video).
- Experience in a compliance, legal, or risk management role within digital media.
- Familiarity with UK advertising regulations (e.g., ASA, CMA).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Law, or a related field.
- Experience using compliance or auditing software.
