Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects or non-conformities.
  • Conduct basic quality checks and record data accurately according to established procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized quality control laboratory/work area.
  • Report any deviations from quality standards immediately to senior QC staff.
  • Learn and adhere to all company safety and quality policies and procedures.
  • Support the Quality Control team with general administrative tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously.
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g., data entry).
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • GCSEs or equivalent in Science, Math, or English.
  • A genuine interest in manufacturing or food production.
  • Previous experience in a role requiring high accuracy (e.g., data entry, administrative support).
