Job Description

Join FedEx as an Inventory Associate, a critical role demanding meticulous attention to detail and unwavering accuracy. You will be responsible for ensuring the precise tracking, organization, and management of inventory within our New Port Richey facility. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Manage inbound and outbound inventory processes, including receiving, stocking, and picking.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to track and update stock levels.
  • Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of materials within the warehouse.
  • Report any inventory variances or issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to perform highly accurate data entry and record-keeping.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with inventory software or similar systems.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Familiarity with FedEx operational procedures.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment (certification a plus).
  • Associate's degree or relevant vocational training.
