Job Description

Are you passionate about golf and video games? Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy providing feedback? Electronic Arts is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Playtesters to join our team in Gulfport, MS for the EA Sports PGA Tour. This is an immediate start position where you will play early builds of the game, identify bugs, provide critical feedback on gameplay, and ensure a high-quality user experience. No prior professional experience is required, just a strong passion for gaming and a willingness to learn!

Key Responsibilities

  • Play pre-release versions of EA Sports PGA Tour extensively.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and usability issues using established tools and processes.
  • Provide constructive and detailed feedback on gameplay mechanics, features, and overall player experience.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure feedback is understood and addressed.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols regarding unreleased game content.
  • Complete daily playtesting quotas and tasks efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for golf and video games, especially sports titles.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to articulate feedback clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with different gaming platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with various golf video game titles.
  • Experience playing golf in real life or strong understanding of golf rules and mechanics.
  • Previous experience using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
  • Enrollment in or completion of a degree program related to game development, computer science, or a related field.
