Job Description

Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for entertainment and a knack for virtual event coordination? Wasserman is seeking a Virtual Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team, specifically focusing on the meticulous planning and execution of Netflix premiere events. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while playing a crucial role in bringing groundbreaking entertainment experiences to life. You will be instrumental in managing the technical and logistical aspects of virtual red carpets, Q&As, press junkets, and fan experiences, ensuring seamless and memorable online events for global audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all logistical elements for virtual Netflix premieres and related events, including scheduling, vendor management, and platform setup.
  • Manage virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Webex Events, bespoke streaming solutions) from setup to execution, including attendee registration and technical support.
  • Liaise with Netflix teams, talent, publicists, and internal stakeholders to ensure all event requirements are met and communicated effectively.
  • Develop detailed event timelines, production schedules, and run-of-show documents.
  • Oversee pre-event technical checks, rehearsals, and talent briefings.
  • Provide real-time support during live virtual events, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
  • Track event budgets, expenses, and reconcile invoices post-event.
  • Contribute to post-event reporting, including analytics, feedback compilation, and recommendations for future improvements.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination, with a strong preference for virtual or hybrid events.
  • Proficiency with virtual event platforms and tools (e.g., Zoom Webinar/Events, Microsoft Teams, Vimeo, OBS).
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for the entertainment industry and understanding of premiere events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Experience working with high-profile clients or entertainment brands.
  • Familiarity with streaming service ecosystems and content release strategies.
