Join UPS as a Holiday Helper and play a crucial role in delivering joy during the busiest time of the year! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to support our operations with part-time weekend work. This temporary position offers competitive hourly pay and direct deposit, perfect for those seeking flexible hours and a chance to earn extra income during the holiday rush. As a Holiday Helper, you will assist with various tasks to ensure packages are sorted, loaded, and dispatched efficiently, contributing directly to the successful delivery of millions of parcels. This is an on-site position at our Arvada facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with sorting packages into designated areas for delivery.
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles, trailers, and conveyor belts.
- Scan packages and ensure accurate data entry.
- Move packages by hand, using a hand truck, or other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or package handling environment is a plus.
