Job Description

We are seeking a highly professional and dedicated Concierge Support specialist to join our team at an exclusive, high-end residential apartment block in Guildford. This pivotal role is the face of the building, providing a first-class experience for residents and visitors alike. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations at the reception desk, ensuring security, assisting residents with their needs, and maintaining the pristine environment of this luxury property. The ideal candidate will possess an impeccable service ethos, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring every interaction reflects the premium standard of the development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, professional, and courteous welcome to all residents and visitors.
  • Manage the reception desk, including handling queries, delivering mail/parcels, and coordinating services.
  • Maintain security by monitoring CCTV, managing access control, and reporting any suspicious activities.
  • Assist residents with various requests, including booking taxis, making restaurant reservations, and arranging dry cleaning services.
  • Oversee contractors and deliveries, ensuring adherence to building policies and safety standards.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them appropriately and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and resident requests.
  • Ensure the common areas of the building are kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
  • Act as a point of contact for out-of-hours emergencies, coordinating with relevant services as needed.
  • Foster a positive and supportive community atmosphere within the residential block.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably within a luxury environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and professional demeanor.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Excellent IT literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of security protocols and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a concierge or front desk agent in a high-end residential or hotel setting.
  • Knowledge of the local Guildford area and amenities.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
