Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Online Catalog Coordinator to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient listing of simple products across our e-commerce platforms. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the specified geographic region. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our online catalog is up-to-date, engaging, and easy for customers to navigate, directly contributing to a seamless online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload and maintain simple product listings, including descriptions, images, and pricing, on our e-commerce platform.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data across all online channels.
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to obtain necessary product information and assets.
- Conduct regular audits of the online catalog to identify and correct discrepancies or errors.
- Optimize product listings for searchability and user experience.
- Assist in the categorization and tagging of products to improve discoverability.
- Generate reports on catalog data quality and listing status as required.
- Stay informed on best practices for online catalog management and product data entry.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of product data attributes (SKU, UPC, MPN).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in online retail or e-commerce.
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems.
- Experience with SEO best practices for product listings.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
