Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented AI Prompt Writer & Tester to join our innovative team. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in crafting, refining, and testing prompts for our advanced AI models, ensuring they generate accurate, creative, and contextually relevant outputs. This position requires a keen understanding of language, a passion for AI, and a meticulous approach to testing and iteration. You will work closely with AI researchers, engineers, and content specialists to optimize AI performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and iterate on high-quality prompts for various AI models to achieve desired outcomes.
- Conduct systematic testing of AI model outputs based on developed prompts, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and biases.
- Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to AI engineers and researchers for model improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective prompting strategies.
- Develop and maintain best practices for prompt engineering and testing methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, natural language processing, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing related to prompt design and testing.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written communication skills in English, with an emphasis on clarity, creativity, and precision.
- Proven ability to think critically and analytically about language and AI model behavior.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with various AI models and language generation tools (e.g., GPT, Bard, LaMDA).
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their implications for language generation.
- Proficiency in using collaborative tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Jira).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Creative Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in technical writing, content creation, or user experience (UX) writing.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis or prompt automation.
- Previous experience in a role involving quality assurance or testing.
- A portfolio demonstrating creative writing or prompt engineering examples.
