Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barber Shop Host to join our vibrant team in Louisville, KY. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals passionate about creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience for all our clients. As the first point of contact, you will be crucial in setting the tone for our barbershop’s unique atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, greeting clients, assisting with product sales, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area. This is a full-time, on-site position with excellent opportunities for growth and includes tips.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all clients upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Manage appointment schedules efficiently using our POS system, handle walk-ins, and minimize client wait times.
  • Answer phone calls, address client inquiries, and provide accurate information about services and pricing.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, waiting room, and retail displays.
  • Assist clients with product selection and sales, processing transactions accurately.
  • Support barbers and stylists by ensuring smooth client flow and relaying important information.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve minor issues professionally and courteously.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required.
