Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, analysis, and execution of complex civil engineering projects, including transportation, water resources, urban development, and site infrastructure.
  • Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of designs and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, project updates, and progress reports.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to client development and revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all projects.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, StormCAD, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations governing civil engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with international projects or diverse regulatory environments.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and resilient infrastructure.
