Job Description
Join the high-energy team at Miller’s Ale House in New Port Richey as a Weekend Barback! We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to support our bartenders and ensure smooth operations during our busiest times. This part-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves being part of a vibrant bar scene, and is committed to providing excellent support to our front-of-house staff. Key Responsibilities
- Stocking and replenishing the bar with ice, garnishes, glassware, and alcoholic beverages.
- Changing kegs and ensuring a constant supply of fresh beer.
- Assisting bartenders with any tasks needed, including clearing empty glasses and cleaning spills.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar throughout shifts.
- Ensuring all bar areas are well-prepared before opening and thoroughly cleaned after closing.
- Transporting supplies from storage areas to the bar.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, especially for weekend shifts.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Basic understanding of bar operations or willingness to learn quickly.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of various alcoholic beverages and bar terminology.
