Job Description
Lululemon is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Shopify Expert to join our dynamic e-commerce team. This role is pivotal in driving the performance and growth of our Shopify Plus platform through comprehensive audits, strategic recommendations, and hands-on optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Shopify’s ecosystem, theme architecture, app integrations, and performance best practices. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance site speed, conversion rates, user experience, and overall technical SEO. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional digital experiences. This is a Hybrid role, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth audits of our Shopify Plus store, identifying areas for improvement in performance, user experience, conversion funnels, and technical SEO.
- Develop and implement strategic optimization plans based on audit findings, competitor analysis, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with development, marketing, and design teams to prioritize and execute new features, app integrations, and theme modifications.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as site speed, bounce rate, conversion rate, and revenue, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Manage and optimize Shopify apps, ensuring seamless integration and maximal benefit to the store's functionality and performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest Shopify updates, features, and e-commerce trends, advising on their potential impact and opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Shopify platform, themes, and apps.
- Educate internal teams on Shopify best practices and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, including extensive experience with theme development, liquid templating, and custom app integrations.
- Proven track record of conducting successful Shopify audits and implementing optimization strategies that result in measurable improvements (e.g., site speed, conversion rate).
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques (e.g., image optimization, lazy loading, caching).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and Liquid.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid grasp of e-commerce analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics) and A/B testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Shopify Partner or Shopify Expert certification.
- Experience with headless Shopify or hydrogen/Oxygen.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms or content management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
