Job Description
Are you passionate about entertainment and helping others? Netflix is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Support Specialists to join our team in the vibrant Pearl District of Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued members, providing top-notch customer service and technical support related to their Netflix accounts, billing, streaming issues, and general inquiries. This is a full-time position with consistent Monday-Friday, day shifts, offering a stable schedule and a dynamic work environment. We’re looking for individuals who thrive on solving problems, communicating clearly, and ensuring every Netflix member has an outstanding experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to Netflix members via phone, chat, and email.
- Diagnose and resolve streaming issues, account access problems, billing inquiries, and general technical questions.
- Educate members on Netflix features, services, and troubleshooting steps.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and resolutions in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with team members and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with new Netflix content, features, and policy changes.
- Adhere to quality standards and performance metrics to ensure a consistent and high-quality member experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or technical support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in navigating computer systems and multiple applications simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated empathy and patience when interacting with customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with streaming technologies and common operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
- A genuine passion for movies, TV shows, and the Netflix brand.
- Previous experience in a call center environment.
