Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Chauffeur Aide to join our growing team. In this support role, you will work closely with our Lead Drivers to ensure a seamless and superior transportation experience for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service, looking to develop a career in luxury chauffeuring. You will assist with vehicle preparation, client assistance, route support, and general logistical tasks, playing a crucial part in maintaining our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Chauffeurs with pre-trip preparations, including route planning, traffic monitoring, and schedule confirmation.
- Ensure all vehicles are meticulously cleaned, polished, fueled, and maintained to pristine standards before and after each trip.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting clients warmly, assisting with luggage, and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey.
- Support the Lead Driver in navigating routes, managing client requests, and adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle inspections, and service logs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform minor vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with client pick-ups and drop-offs, ensuring timely and discreet service.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and discreet demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs) and assist clients as needed.
- Proficiency with GPS systems and smartphone applications for navigation and communication.
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
- Reliability and punctuality are paramount.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or driving role.
- Familiarity with local routes, landmarks, and traffic patterns within Burlington and broader Vermont.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
