Job Description
Are you a budding Swift enthusiast with a passion for iOS development and a keen interest in the intricacies of the Apple App Store ecosystem? Accenture is seeking a Junior Swift Programmer to join our dynamic mobile development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge iOS applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and user experience. You will work closely with senior developers, designers, and product managers to bring innovative ideas to life and manage the full lifecycle of apps within the App Store environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Xcode, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Assist in the full lifecycle management of applications, including deployment, updates, and monitoring on the App Store Connect platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, quality assurance) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the stability, performance, and security of applications.
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest Apple technologies, SDKs, and App Store guidelines.
- Contribute to technical documentation and maintain clear communication within the development team.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of Swift programming language.
- Familiarity with the iOS SDK and Xcode development environment.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Eagerness to learn and a strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with publishing an app to the App Store (even personal projects).
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and interface guidelines for iOS.
- Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
