Job Description

In this full-time role, you are guaranteed 40 hours per week and will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service, building strong client relationships, and offering tailored financial solutions. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on our clients’ lives and contributing to the success of our branch. As a Retail Banker, you will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, assisting them with their banking needs, identifying opportunities to introduce them to relevant products and services, and ensuring a smooth and efficient banking experience. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and trust within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their financial needs and provide appropriate solutions, including opening new accounts, processing transactions, and responding to inquiries.
- Identify and refer clients to specialists for more complex financial needs, such as mortgage, investment, or small business services.
- Educate clients on digital banking tools and services to enhance their banking experience.
- Adhere to all banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve client issues and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with banking products and services.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and offer solutions.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and strong numerical aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
