Job Description

Marriott International is seeking discerning individuals to join our team as a Resort Mystery Guest for the summer season. This unique, temporary role involves discreetly evaluating the quality of service, amenities, and overall guest experience at our luxury resort properties. You will immerse yourself in the guest journey, providing invaluable feedback that helps us maintain our world-class standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Discreetly evaluate all aspects of the resort experience, including check-in/check-out processes, room cleanliness and amenities, food and beverage services, recreational facilities, and staff interactions.
  • Observe and assess staff professionalism, attentiveness, and adherence to service standards without revealing your identity.
  • Compile detailed, objective, and constructive written reports following each assignment, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Provide specific examples and clear descriptions to support all observations and ratings.
  • Adhere strictly to confidentiality agreements and evaluation guidelines.
  • Manage assigned travel logistics and complete reports within specified deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to articulate findings clearly and concisely.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Reliability and adherence to deadlines.
  • Ability to travel and adapt to varying resort environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with luxury service standards.
  • Experience as a mystery shopper or quality assurance evaluator.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
