Job Description
Join Brink’s as an Armored Car Driver and become a crucial part of our high-security operations. We are looking for dedicated individuals ready to transport valuable assets safely and efficiently. As a driver, you will be responsible for the secure movement of cash and other valuables, adhering to strict protocols, and maintaining the highest level of vigilance. No prior experience in armored transport is required; we will equip you with all the necessary skills and certifications to excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an armored vehicle safely and securely on a designated route.
- Load and unload valuable cargo, ensuring accurate counts and proper documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all security protocols, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Maintain situational awareness and promptly report any suspicious activity.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Handle sensitive information and materials with utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during pickups and deliveries.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a firearm permit and any other required security licenses.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy bags/boxes (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
- Customer service experience.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes in the Boise area.
- Possession of a CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a plus but not required.
