Job Description

Are you looking for an active summer job that keeps you moving and helps you soak up the sun (or indoor warmth)? Adventure Bay Family Water Park is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Tube Collectors to join our dynamic team for the upcoming summer season. In this vital role, you’ll ensure a smooth flow of operations by collecting, organizing, and distributing tubes for our various attractions. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy being outdoors (or in a water-filled environment), love physical activity, and want to contribute to a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. No prior experience is necessary – we provide all the training you need!

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently collect and retrieve tubes from various water park attractions and designated areas.
  • Organize and stack tubes neatly for quick and easy distribution to guests.
  • Assist guests with finding appropriate tubes for their chosen rides.
  • Monitor tube inventory and report any shortages or damaged equipment to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment around tube collection points.
  • Provide friendly and helpful assistance to guests.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and water park guidelines.
  • Be prepared for an active role that involves frequent walking, lifting, and standing.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Comfortable working in a wet environment and on your feet for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move tubes weighing up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Must be 15 years of age or older (with appropriate work permits if under 18).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or park attendant role.
  • First Aid/CPR certification (asset, but not required).
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, throughout the summer season.
