Job Description

Join Amazon as a Streaming Content Quality Aide, a fully remote, online-only position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality for our vast library of streaming content. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for inconsistencies in video, audio, and metadata. You will work independently to review content, identify issues, and contribute to a seamless viewing experience for millions of users, all without the need for phone interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed quality assurance checks on streaming video, audio, and subtitle content across various platforms and devices.
  • Identify and document technical issues, visual artifacts, audio sync problems, and metadata inaccuracies.
  • Adhere to strict quality guidelines and content specifications to maintain high standards.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate feedback on content issues using internal tracking systems.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of identified problems.
  • Stay updated on content quality standards and emerging streaming technologies.
  • Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet daily and weekly content review targets.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience with digital media consumption (streaming services, video platforms).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using web browsers and common office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Film, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in quality assurance, content moderation, or data entry.
