Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as FedEx Ground Delivery Couriers. As a Delivery Courier, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to residential and commercial customers within a designated route in Henderson, NV. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial delivery vehicle.
- Load, unload, and deliver packages according to established procedures and routes.
- Verify accurate package counts and destinations.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety standards.
- Utilize handheld scanner for package tracking and delivery confirmation.
- Manage delivery schedule to ensure timely package arrival.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Required Skills
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher, depending on vehicle type)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years)
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 150 lbs with equipment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery or courier services
- Familiarity with the Henderson, NV geographical area
- Experience using navigation and scanning technology
