Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Laborers to join our Amazon Fulfillment Center in Wichita, KS. This entry-level position requires no prior experience, as comprehensive orientation and training will be provided to ensure your success. As a Warehouse Laborer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products, playing a crucial role in our fast-paced operations. Safety and efficiency are paramount in this role, and you will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments and accurately sort products.
- Store items in designated warehouse locations according to company procedures.
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Pack and label products securely for outbound shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (training provided as needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and quality control checks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Basic comprehension and communication skills in English.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
