Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-in Caregiver to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This unique opportunity offers a private room and board within the client’s home, alongside a highly competitive salary. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will provide comprehensive, round-the-clock support, companionship, and personal care to our client, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to dietary restrictions.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, and maintaining a clean living environment.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities like reading, conversation, and hobbies.
  • Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed.
  • Monitor and report changes in the client's health or behavior to the care manager.
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of care provided.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in caregiving or a related field (family care counts).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of empathy, patience, and compassion.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience with specific conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's, or mobility limitations.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
