Job Description

Capgemini is looking for an enthusiastic Junior DevOps Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our innovative team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment, management, and operation of scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Google Cloud Platform.
- Learn and apply CI/CD principles and tools to automate software delivery pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Participate in the implementation of security best practices for cloud environments.
- Document configurations, processes, and solutions to maintain comprehensive knowledge sharing.
- Continuously learn new technologies and best practices in the DevOps and Google Cloud ecosystem.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Fundamental knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Associate Cloud Engineer certification or working towards it.
- Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
