Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled musical sets in various onboard venues, including lounges, theaters, and deck parties.
- Participate in daily rehearsals, practice sessions, and sound checks to ensure high-quality performances.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow musicians, vocalists, and entertainment staff.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Adapt to various musical genres, styles, and performance requirements as needed.
- Safeguard and maintain company-provided instruments and equipment.
- Adhere to all ship safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Exceptional proficiency on your primary instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet, violin).
- Strong sight-reading abilities and improvisational skills.
- Ability to perform a wide range of musical genres (e.g., jazz, pop, rock, classical, show tunes).
- Excellent stage presence and ability to engage an audience.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic performance schedule.
- Professional portfolio or audition materials demonstrating performance capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience performing on cruise ships, in resorts, or in professional touring bands.
- Formal music education or equivalent professional training.
- Experience performing in diverse ensemble settings.
- Ability to play multiple instruments.
- Familiarity with musical theater repertoire.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
