Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mobile IV Therapy Dispatcher to join our fast-paced healthcare administration team. In this critical role, you will be the central point of contact for coordinating our mobile IV therapy services, ensuring efficient scheduling, dispatching, and communication between patients, nurses, and medical staff. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the incoming calls and online requests for mobile IV therapy services.
  • Efficiently schedule and dispatch mobile IV therapy nurses to patient locations, optimizing routes and response times.
  • Serve as the primary communication link between patients, nurses, and medical directors, providing real-time updates and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of appointments, patient information, and service logs in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and process initial payment information as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling conflicts or logistical challenges proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and company protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required to support the Mobile IV Therapy program.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dispatch, call center, or healthcare administrative role.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a medical dispatch or emergency services environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
