Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Hotel Porter. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated individuals to contribute to a seamless and welcoming experience for all our guests. As a Porter, you will be the first point of contact, assisting with luggage, directing guests, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house services. We offer a sign-on bonus for new hires who are ready to commit to our high standards of service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist with their luggage to and from their rooms.
- Provide clear directions and information regarding hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation.
- Assist with the delivery of items to guest rooms, including mail, newspapers, and other requested amenities.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously, escalating as necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Ensure the security of guest belongings and hotel property.
- Assist with car parking and valet services when required.
- Support other hotel departments with ad-hoc duties to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
